Description:
|
AmA1 potato is not a specific event but a collection of independent lines resulting from transformation of potato with either vector pSB8 or pSB8G.
The intended consequence of the genetic modification is the nutritional improvement of potato tubers. The transformed plants therefore express the amaranth seed albumin gene AmA1 in a tuber-specific and constitutive manner.
