Comment:

 Target is the phospholipase D (PLD) gene from Oryza sativa.

ATTENTION: Do not use the Diagenode mastermix (Diagenode 2x PCR MasterMix DMMM 2x A300) for the phospholipase D (PLD) endogenous rice gene specific TaqMan PCR method. WFSR (NL) had noticed late signals for maize on DNA isolated from 15 different maize reference materials (Cq around 29, whereas the Cq of rice was 23, 50 ng DNA per reaction).
