Description:

Southern blot analyses indicated the integration of the opAFP-GHc2 gene construct (EO-1alpha) at a single genomic locus. PCR and sequence analyses indicated that the construct had been reorganized. The insertion consists of the 3' segment (614 base pairs) of the ocean pout antifreeze promoter region (opAFP), the intact chinook salmon GH cDNA, the complete ocean pout antifreeze termination region and the first 1678 base pairs of the ocean pout antifreeze 5' region.
