This module allows to check for the authorisation status of a GMO and applications for authorisation in the EU. Corresponding information in Non-EU countries is not available yet.

Click on Search for generic approval to find information on the approval status of a specific GMO for use in food, for use as feed, for cultivation or for other uses.

In the EU the legal conditions for GMO authorisations are rather complex. Click on Custom Search - EU applications to combine selections on intended uses of a GMO and their respective legal status with additional search options like the applicable EU legislation or the reference to the corresponding legal document.
