The placing on the market of the products covered by the scope of the renewal application was previously authorised based on Commission Decision 2005/635/EC on application C/NL/98/11. The authorisation was issued by the competent authority of The Netherlands 21 February 2007 and valid for 10 years. Since a request on renewal of authorisation was submitted in time, the GMO remains authorised for the uses mentioned above.
Foods and food ingredients containing, consisting of or produced from this GMO with the exception of isolated seed protein are authorised with Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2015/701 of 24 April 2015 (EFSA-GMO-NL-2010-87). This authorisation also covers the scopes of two further applications i) on food additives and feed produced from this GMO (EFSA-GMO-RX-GT73(8.1b-20.1b)) and ii) refined oil (EFSA-GMO-RX-GT73(8.1a). |
